Terms of Service & End-User License Agreement

1. Who we are

Darkside Detailing ("we", "our", "us") is a mobile auto detailing service based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, serving Halifax Regional Municipality. These terms govern your use of darksidedetailing.ca (the "Site"), our online booking system, and the detailing services we provide. By booking a service or creating an account, you agree to these terms.

2. Services

We provide mobile auto detailing at your location across Halifax Regional Municipality. We bring our own water and power. Our booking season runs April through November, Monday to Friday, with appointment windows shown live in the booking form. Seasonal promotions may have additional terms stated with the offer.

3. Booking, changes & cancellation

• Bookings are confirmed instantly through the Site and held for your selected time slot.
• You may update your contact details, reschedule, or cancel free of charge using the manage link in your confirmation email.
• We ask for at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling so the slot can be offered to another customer.
• We may reschedule appointments due to severe weather or unsafe working conditions — we'll contact you to rebook at no charge.

4. Pricing & payment

• All prices are in Canadian dollars and subject to HST.
• Payment is due on completion of the service — cash, e-transfer, or credit/debit card on site.
• Promo codes apply at booking and are single-use per customer unless stated otherwise.
• Quotes given before we see the vehicle may be adjusted if the condition differs significantly from what was described — we'll always confirm with you first.

5. Your responsibilities

• Provide safe, legal, and reasonably accessible parking for our vehicle beside yours.
• Remove personal belongings and child seats before the appointment where possible.
• Tell us about anything we should know — aftermarket tint, loose trim, prior paint work, alarm quirks.

6. Satisfaction & liability

Every detail is backed by our satisfaction guarantee: if something isn't right, tell us before we leave (or within 24 hours) and we'll come back and make it right.

We are licensed and insured. Our liability for any claim related to a service is limited to the price paid for that service. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear, or issues arising from undisclosed vehicle modifications. Photos of vehicle condition may be taken before work begins for everyone's protection.

7. Software license (EULA)

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site and its booking, account, and management features for their intended personal or internal business purposes. You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, copy, or resell any part of the Site
• Use the Site for unlawful purposes or to submit false information
• Attempt to access administrative features without authorization
• Interfere with the Site's operation or other customers' bookings

The Site integrates with third-party services (including Google and Intuit QuickBooks) to operate. Your use of those connected features is also subject to those providers' terms. The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind beyond those required by law.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and how it's used.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Nova Scotia and Canada. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Nova Scotia.
